Luk van Driessche

Luk van Driessche (Belgium, 1953) studied at the Higher Sint Lucas Institute in Ghent and at the Academy of Sint Niklaas. In 1980 he moved to Amsterdam. He worked at Castrum Peregrini where he spent some time and started teaching painting at Ateliers Buri. In 1988 he became a art teacher at the Wackers Academy where he is now director since 1994.
In his paintings and drawings you can see some Flemish and German influences. In recent years he was inspired by the watercolors he made in the summer in Trouville, near Honfleur in Normandy (France).
